Circuit Pop: Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 October 2026. Applies to the Circuit Pop app for Android and iOS and the web version at app.funkylab.ai.

In short: Circuit Pop has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email or contacts. Your game progress is saved on your device and backed up to your own Google Play Games account (Android) or iCloud account (iPhone), so it comes back if you reinstall or change phone. We never receive it, except for up to 24 hours if you choose "Move to another phone". The app (Android and iPhone) sends us anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports through Google Firebase, and can send you notifications if you turn them on. Ads in the app are provided by Google AdMob, and purchases are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.

Who we are

Circuit Pop is made by TCCB (tccb.store), based in Florida, USA. Questions about this policy: [email protected].

Information stored on your device

Your progress (levels, stars, coins, tools, lives, settings and side-mission progress) is saved in your device's local storage so you can carry on where you left off. It is not sent to us. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes it.

Cloud save (Google Play Games, Android app)

If you are signed in to Google Play Games, the app also saves a copy of the same progress to your Google Play Games account (Google's Saved Games service), so it can be restored if you reinstall the app or move to a new phone. This copy is stored by Google in your Google account; it is not sent to us and we cannot see it. Google Play Games may show your Play Games name in the app. If you are not signed in, nothing is backed up and your progress stays only on your device.

Google's handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can turn Play Games off, or delete your Play Games data, in the Google Play Games settings on your phone; the saved copy can also be removed from your Google account (Google Drive, Settings, Manage apps, Circuit Pop, "Delete hidden app data").

Cloud save (iCloud, iPhone app)

On iPhone the app saves a copy of your progress to your iCloud account (Apple's iCloud key-value storage) using the Apple ID already on your phone, so it comes back if you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone. This copy is stored by Apple; it is not sent to us and we cannot see it. It is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy, and you can turn iCloud off for the app or remove its data in your iPhone's Settings (your name, iCloud, Manage Storage).

Move to another phone (transfer code)

If you tap "Get a code" in Settings, the app sends your game progress (experiments reached, stars, coins, gadgets and game settings; no name, email, contacts or device identifiers) to our server at app.funkylab.ai and shows a one-time code. Entering that code on another phone downloads the progress and deletes it from our server straight away. Codes that are never used are deleted after 24 hours. To stop abuse, the server also keeps a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address for one hour to limit how many codes can be made or tried.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows optional rewarded videos (for example, to get an extra life) and occasional ads between levels. These are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device and app information and ad interactions. In the UK, EEA and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice later. On iOS you are asked for permission before your advertising identifier is used for tracking.

Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases (coin packs and bundles) are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your card or payment details. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was made so the items can be added to your game.

Analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase)

The Android and iPhone apps use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics so we can see how the game is played (for example which levels people find too hard) and fix crashes. They collect gameplay events (such as levels started, won or failed, tools used and coins earned), a random app-instance ID, your device model, operating system and app version, approximate country (from your IP address) and, for crashes, technical details of the error. They do not collect your name, email or contacts, and we have turned off Firebase's collection of your advertising ID and its use for ad personalisation. We only see this data in aggregate or tied to the random ID, never to you personally. Google keeps detailed Analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days. Google's handling is described in the Firebase privacy information. The web version does not use analytics.

Notifications

Notifications are off until you turn them on (the game asks after a few experiments, or use the "Out of lives" screen or Settings; if you have already allowed notifications for the app on your phone, the daily reminder is on). When they are on, the app can remind you when your lives are full again (scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent to us) and we may send occasional game news through Firebase Cloud Messaging, which gives your phone a random notification token. Turning notifications off in Settings deletes that token. You can also turn them off in your phone's settings.

Feedback emails

If you use "Send feedback" in the game's settings, your email app opens a message to us with some details already filled in (the game version, your progress, your device model and a short anonymous player code) so we can help. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it. You can also use the feedback page at app.funkylab.ai/feedback, where your email address is optional. We receive your email address and whatever you write, use them only to reply and fix problems, and delete them when they're no longer needed.

Children

Circuit Pop is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served under Google's policies for the audience set in the store listing.

US residents (including California)

We do not sell your personal information. Advertising in the app is provided by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to show ads; you can turn off ad personalisation and reset your advertising ID in your device settings. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Your game data is stored on your device and, with cloud save, in your own Google Play Games or iCloud account (and for up to 24 hours on our server if you use a transfer code). The only information we receive is the anonymous analytics and crash data described above. Deleting the app removes the copy on your device, and the cloud copy can be deleted in your Google account (see Cloud save above); for anything collected by Google's advertising services, see Google's privacy controls at myadcenter.google.com.

UK, EEA and Switzerland

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, ads are only personalised with your consent, which you can give or withdraw through the consent form shown in the app. You may also contact us to ask about the information we hold (your progress is on your device and, with cloud save, in your own Google or Apple account; transfer codes are deleted after use or 24 hours; we only receive the anonymous analytics and crash data described above) and you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
